May 12 (Reuters) - DHL Group DHLn.DE said on Tuesday it signed a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) supply agreement with the SAF One production facility in Bahrain.
The deal will grant its subsidiary DHL Express long term access to 25,000 metric tons of unblended SAF per year, the group said in a statement.
This represents a total of 250,000 metric tons over a 10-year term from start of production, planned in 2028, it said.
The agreement supports DHL's target to increase SAF use to 30% by 2030.
