** Stock top loser on London's small caps index .FTSC, which is down 0.83%

** Co notes softening in footfall linked to adverse weather conditions since the half year period

** Says consumer confidence remains delicately balanced

** Peel Hunt analysts say "second-half has started slowly; Feb was poor (weather) and geopolitics are causing nerves among consumers"

** Up to Wednesday's close, stock had fallen 14.08%, compared with a 1.38% YTD decline in FTSC
