** Shares of sugarcane processing company Dhampur Sugar
Mills  DAMS.NS  rise as much as 5.7% to 232.2 rupees, their
biggest intra-day pct gain since July 21  
    ** Last week, promoter Goel Investments raised its stake in
co by 6.33% to 23.88% (https://bityl.co/EX5r)
    ** On Monday, Sonitron, another promoter group entity, cut
its entire 6.08% stake in the co (https://bityl.co/EX9T)
    ** Last week, sugar firms saw their shares rise between 2.4%
and 7.4% following a report that the govt would allow exports in

    ** More than 327,000 shares traded as of 0845 GMT, vs 30-day
avg of 265,221
    ** Shares fell 19.3% YTD, as of last close
