** Shares of sugar maker Dhampur Sugar Mills  DAMS.NS  rise 
as much as 4.5% to 268 rupees
    ** Stock of DAMS hits highest level since Dec. 21, 2022
    ** DAMS on Sunday said its consolidated net profit for Q4
more-than-doubled to 606.9 million rupees ($7.43 million)
    ** Revenue from operations rose to 7.59 billion rupees from
5.32 billion rupees a year ago
    ** Revenue from co' s largest segment Sugar, rose 44.8%,
standing at 5.9 billion rupees 
    ** More than 326,000 shares change hands by 11:09 a.m. IST,
0.6x the 30-day avg 
    ** Stock up 3.6% this year as of last close
