** Shares of Dhanlaxmi Bank DNBK.NS climb as much as 5.7% to 30.8 rupees, last up 1%

** Lender posted net profit of 121.8 million rupees($1.4 million) in the quarter ended June 30, from loss of 80 million rupees a year ago

** Interest earned grew 20% on-year, while total income rose 20.5%

** Stock eyes busiest trading day in 11 sessions, volumes at 2.9x the 30-day avg

** Year-to-date, stock down ~6%
