** Shares of Indian lender Dhanlaxmi Bank DNBK.NS rise as much as 19.7% to 33.40 rupees, the highest intraday pct rise since December 2024

** DNBK last up 14.3%

** The bank reported quarterly profit up 50% y/y; quarterly interest earned up 26.3%

** 6.1 million shares change hands by 2:38 pm, more than 6x the 30-day avg

** YTD, DBNK up 27.5%
