Chinese ride-hailing company DiDi Global settles US investor lawsuit over 2021 IPO

NEW YORK, Sept 10 (Reuters) - DiDi Global 92Sy.D, the Chinese ride-hailing company, settled a class-action lawsuit claiming it defrauded investors by concealing and disobeying a Chinese government order to postpone its 2021 initial public offering, a Wednesday court filing shows.

In a letter filed in Manhattan federal court, a lawyer for the plaintiffs said both sides are negotiating the terms of a stipulation of settlement, and expect to formally seek settlement approval in mid-October. Terms were not disclosed.
