Diagnostyka full-year profit rises on higher test volumes and prices

April 20 (Reuters) - Polish medical laboratory operator Diagnostyka DIAP.WA reported a 12.6% rise in full-year net profit on Monday, driven by higher test volumes and increased prices as the company continues its acquisitions in the lab and diagnostic imaging sectors.

Krakow-based Diagnostyka, a leading provider in Poland's lab testing market with 155 laboratories and 1,200 blood collection points, has acquired 14 businesses since its 1.7 billion zloty ($0.5 billion) market debut in February 2025.

• The growth was supported by an 8.1% rise in test volumes and a 15% increase in average test prices, Deputy CFO Bartosz Cieslicki said in a letter to shareholders

• He said that the higher prices were fuelled by a favourable product mix, price increases in both B2B and B2C channels, and the consolidation of diagnostic imaging companies

• The company's full-year net profit reached 251.6 million zlotys, while operating revenue rose nearly 23% to 2.42 billion zlotys

• Recurring core profit rose 15% to 586.4 million zlotys, reflecting a margin of 24.3%

• The board plans to recommend a dividend of 4.40 zlotys per share for 2025
