PRIME MINISTER TUSK
Poland will engage in discussions to create safe skies over Ukraine but future solutions must not compromise Polish national security, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Thursday after a summit meeting of Ukraine and its allies.
INTEREST RATES
Poland's central bank must be cautious when deciding on further interest rate cuts and consider inflationary risk factors such as loose fiscal policy, rapid economic growth and wage pressures, its governor said on Thursday.
DIAGNOSTYKA
Polish medical laboratory operator Diagnostyka DIAP.WA, which listed on the stock exchange in February, reported a second-quarter net profit of 63.8 million zlotys ($17.53 million) on Thursday, driven by rising sales of tests and a higher average price per test.
DEBT
On Friday at 1000, the Polish Ministry of Finance will hold an auction for the sale of 42-week Treasury bills worth 2.0-4.0 billion zlotys. ($549.38 million-$1.10 billion).
