Bit Digital shares more than double in volume spike

** Shares in bitcoin mining company Bit Digital Inc  BTBT.O  up
95.3% at $8.26 as volume accelerates in afternoon trading
    ** BTBT gapped higher at the open after announcing earlier
that it expanded a collaboration with Digihost  DGHI.V  to
further increase combined hashrates, the computational power per
second used when in mining  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nPn46GsdWa
    ** Then around 1300 BTBT trading volume and price rose
sharply with volume last at 147,998,465 vs 10-DMA of 1,947,681
in its most active session on record. The company has just 48.3
mln shares outstanding according to Refinitiv
    ** After closing at $4.23 on Friday, stock traded in a range
of $4.88 and $8.90 on Monday but was still below its $33 price
peak for the year so far reached on Jan.4
    ** Other cryto relates stocks were also rising on Monday as
Bitcoin  BTC=BTSP  surged higher on track for its sixth straight
day of gains, last up 12.4%  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL4N2P21Y2
    ** Bitcoin bank Silvergate Capital Corp  SI.N  was up 6.7%;
cryptocurrency miner Riot Blockchain  RIOT.O  was up 21.9% and
Marathon Digital Holdings MARA.O gained 19.0%
