    COVID-19 health passes will be mandatory for all workers in
Italy from Friday, a measure that some politicians, unions and
businesses fear will cause shortages and disruptions rather than
boost inoculations and output as the government hopes.

    Italy reported 37 coronavirus-related deaths on Wednesday,
down from 49 the previous day, the health ministry said, while
the daily tally of new infections rose to 2,772 from 2,494.

    Italy's largest lender holds an ordinary shareholders'

    The bank has hired Boston Consulting Group to help it study
ways to develop its business, including through a merger which
remains the troubled lender's main goal, Genoa-based lender said

    The Italian broadcaster's domestic advertising sales fell by
16.8% year on year in August but rose by 26.7% in the first
eight months of 2021, according to estimates by research firm
