U.S. stock indexes were trading flat to lower on Monday, as
investors braced for a pivotal week for global markets in which
Americans will elect a new president and the Federal Reserve is
likely to cut its benchmark policy rate. .N
At 10:34 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was
down 0.3% to 41,925.13. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.11% at
5,735.29 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.05% at
18,249.409.
