Exercise of Share Options & Total Voting Rights
Distil plc (AIM: DIS), owner of premium drinks brandsRedLeg Spiced Rum, Blackwoods Gin and Vodka, Blavod Black Vodka, Jago's Cream Liqueur and Divavodka, announces that it has issued 500,000 new ordinaryshares of 0.1 pence("Ordinary Shares") following the exercise of share options by an employee of the Company in line with share option vesting terms.
Application was made to the London Stock Exchange for the 500,000 Ordinary Shares issued pursuant to the option exercise to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). Admission is expected to occur at 8:00 a.m. on 9 September 2016. TheOrdinarySharesshall rankpari passuwith the existing ordinary shares in the Company.
Following Admission, the Company's enlarged issued share capital comprises499,833,488 Ordinary Shareswith one voting right per share.There areno shares held intreasury.The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 499,833,488.
This figure of 499,833,488 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
