DMC Global shares tumble ahead of quarterly report

** Shares in DMC Global Inc BOOM.O down 7.0% at $46.92 on Thur
ahead of the co's quarterly report due out after market close
** BOOM, which operates product and process businesses
serving the energy, industrial and infrastructure markets,
registers trading range of $46.52 to $50.76 so far in session,
hitting lowest level since Jan 5
** Trading volume 1.6 times 10-DMA
** BOOM expected to report Q2 adj EPS of 13 cents vs loss of
29 cents in year-ago-quarter on rev of $69.5 mln, up 61% from
year-ago quarter, according to Refinitiv, which shows estimates
from just 4 analysts
** Stock is up 9% YTD but well below its peak of $70 for the
year so far. In comparison Nasdaq Industrial index .IXID up
0.3% on Thur and 6% YTD
