** Shares of discount retailer Dollar Tree DLTR.O down 3% at $104.70 premarket

** Forecasts annual sales largely below expectations as budget-conscious consumers tightened spending

** Expects annual net sales in the range of $20.5 billion to $20.7 billion, compared with analysts' estimates of $20.69 billion

** Sees annual adjusted EPS in the range of $6.50 to $6.90, largely in line with estimates of $6.69

** Q4 sales of $5.45 billion vs estimates of $5.46 billion

** However, quarterly adjusted EPS came in at $2.56, beating estimate of $2.52

** As of last close, stock down ~13% YTD
