Appointment of Non-Executive Director
 
dotdigital Group plc (AIM: DOTD), the leading 'SaaS' provider of an omnichannel marketing automation and customer engagement platform, announces that it has appointed Elizabeth (Liz) Anne Richards to the Board as Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee with effect from 1 May 2020.
 
Liz is a highly experienced executive and non-executive director with a career spanning the Financial Services, Data and Software sectors. After an early career with Lloyds Bank, Liz qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young and subsequently held senior finance roles at Silentnight Holdings plc and Skipton Building Society. From 2000 to 2015, Liz was Chief Financial Officer for Callcredit (now Transunion), a successful consumer data business, where she oversaw its growth from being a start-up in 2000 to a company with £150m revenues and 1,200 people by 2015.
 
Liz currently holds Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair positions at both LINK Scheme Ltd and Tracsis plc. Liz also holds two pro bono roles, Chair of Audit for Leeds Trinity University and Chair of Finance and Investment for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Liz will chair the Audit Committee of dotdigital.
 
The appointment follows the Board's previously stated intention to recruit an additional independent non-executive director, in line with the standards set by the QCA Corporate Governance Code. Following this appointment, the Board comprises three independent non-executive directors and two executive directors.
