    -- Bulgaria and Qatar are considering to set up a joint food 
company to boost exports of Bulgarian meat, vegetables and fruit 
to Qatar, officials said. (Trud, Standart, 24 Chasa) 
    TRUD - Syrian refugees are avoiding to cross Bulgaria to 
western Europe, mainly because the human traffickers are seeking 
three times higher fees of up to 8,000 euros per person to take 
them across the border from Turkey, refugees already in Germany 
and the Netherlands, contracted by the paper said.  
    SEGA - The construction of a gas pipeline aimed to link 
Bulgaria and Romania faces a new delay, after the company which 
won the tender to build the section under Danube River failed to 
agree with subcontractors, the energy minister said. 
    -- Bulgaria's border police has detained a suspected 
activist of Islamic State who have tried to enter the country 
from Turkey, officials said. The man was arrested on an Interpol 
warrant, issued by Germany. (Monitor, Standart) 
    CAPITAL DAILY - The central bank has rejected the 
preliminary deal of Bulgaria's Doverie United Holding  5DOV.BB  
to acquire Bulgaria's small Tokuda Bank, controlled by Japan's 
International Hospital Service. 
    CAPITAL DAILY - Domestic demand is the key driver of the 
record economic growth in the second quarter of 2.2 percent 
year-on-year, the statistics office data showed.  
    24 CHASA - A U.S. company is considering to produce airplane 
parts in Bulgaria and is looking to acquire production sites 
near Sofia's airport, the head of Bulgarian Investment Agency
