Chemicals maker Dow to eliminate 4,500 roles, targets $2 billion core profit boost
Jan 29 (Reuters) - Chemicals company Dow DOW.N said on Thursday it would eliminate about 4,500 roles and set at least $2 billion in near-term adjusted core profit uplift. The company anticipates nearly $1.1 to 1.5 billion in one-time costs, including nearly $600-800 million in severance.
