** DOW beats Wall Street estimates for third-quarter adjusted profit owing to cost-cutting measures and higher prices driven by a supply shortage due to the Middle East conflict
** Posts Q3 profit of 71 cents per share, compared to analysts esitmates of 64 cents per share - LSEG data
** Quarterly net sales from its packaging and specialty plastics segment rose over 18% to $5.8 billion from a year ago
** As of last close, stock up 29.9% YTD
