The Company announces William Dawkins stepped down as a Director of the
Company on 14 May 2024.

Will Dawkins volunteered to be the director stepping down as the DSM board
reduced its size and costs as part of the wind down of the company, the
realisation of its portfolio and return of cash to shareholders.  That return
of capital is proceeding better than forecast and at good market values with a
further significant dividend anticipated shortly.

Hugh Aldous, Chairman, commented that "Will has been a first-class director,
clear thinking through our strategic reviews and has led the board appraisal
process.  In the remaining period during which we will be returning all
capital to shareholders we will miss him at board meetings: an excellent
investment company director."
