BERLIN, Oct 17 (Reuters) - Volkswagen VOWG_p.DE has called an extraordinary meeting of the executive committee of its supervisory board on Friday, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) newspaper reported.
Earlier on Friday, German media reported that Oliver Blume, CEO of both Volkswagen and Porsche, would leave his post at the helm of the luxury subsidiary next year, ending a dual leadership role that has worried investors at a time of challenges for both companies.
Volkswagen was not immediately reachable when contacted for comment on the SZ report.
