Notification of Transactions by Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial
Responsibility

Dr. Martens plc (the "Company") announces that it has been notified of the
following transaction in the Company's Ordinary 1p shares undertaken on behalf
of a director / person discharging managerial responsibility ("PDMR").

Shortly after joining the Company on 13 May, Giles Wilson, Chief Financial
Officer, received a cash payment to compensate him for the loss of bonuses he
stood to receive at his previous employer. In line with the Company's
Remuneration Policy, one third of the net amount payable was subsequently used
to purchase shares which Giles is required to hold for a minimum of two years.

The relevant notification, set out below, is provided in accordance with the
requirements of Article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulation.
