** Shares of DroneShield DRO.AX rise as much as 10.3% to A$3.550, their biggest intraday pct gain since October 21

** The defence firm receives new three standalone contracts totalling A$7.6 million ($4.94 million)

** Co says contracts are for handheld systems to be delivered to the U.S. government

** Stock up over 350% this year, including the day's move
