** Shares of security solutions provider  DSS.A  jump 34% to
$5.40, hitting best day since March 
    ** Co posts $4.2 mln rev in Q3, a 59% jump from $2.6 mln a

    ** Net income from continuing operations in Q3 rose to $5.4
mln, or $1.20 per share, up from a net loss of about $1.2 mln
($1.53 per share)
    ** Stock down ~36% so far this year
