** U.S.-listed shares of German drugmaker BioNTech BNTX.O 22UAy.DE rise 9.2% to $113 premarket

** BNTX and Shanghai-based partner Duality Biologics's 9606.HK experimental drug to treat type of breast cancer met main goal of slowing disease progression in late-stage trial, companies say

** Patients taking part in trial suffered from HER2-positive breast cancer that could no longer be removed surgically and who had undergone prior established drug treatment

** BioNTech and Chinese biotech firm Duality are also testing their drug on patients with low levels of HER2

** As of last close, BNTX stock down 9.2% YTD
