BERLIN/FRANKFURT, May 10 (Reuters) - The following are some
of the factors that may move German stocks on Monday:
    
    CORONAVIRUS
    Germany reported 6,922 new infections and 54 more deaths on
Monday.
    German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Saturday she was
opposed to waiving patent protections for COVID-19 vaccines as
this could jeopardise the quality of shots against the disease.

    The European Union signed a new contract with
Pfizer-Biontech  PFE.N  to receive 1.8 billion doses of COVID-19
vaccines for 2021-2023, to cover booster shots, donations and
reselling of doses, the European Commission said on Friday.

    PORSCHE plans to release an electric version of the Macan
compact SUV in H2 2023, Michael Steiner, the carmaker's head of
research and development told Welt am Sonntag. It will be the
first model build on Porsche's Premium Platform Electric (PPE).
    Volkswagen AG has finalized a commitment to launch a new
investment cycle in Brazil, the continent's top auto producer,

    Hypo Real Estate, one of the biggest German casualties of
the 2008 financial crisis, has lost 75 million euros in the
