Deutsche Bank's DWS to call itself Deutsche Asset Management in rebranding
Deutsche Bank's DWS to call itself Deutsche Asset Management in rebranding FRANKFURT, Sept 8 (Reuters) - DWS DWSG.DE, the asset manager mostly owned by Germany's Deutsche Bank DBKGn.DE, said on Tuesday that it would rename itself Deutsche Asset Management later this year to underscore its German and European origins.
DWS said the move would help create a clear global identity under European leadership.
"Our ambitions are international – and that calls for a new approach," DWS CEO Stefan Hoops said.
The renaming is effective from early November.
Individual existing product brand names - like DWS for European private wealth clients and Xtrackers for ETFs - will remain unchanged.
