U.S. stock index futures slipped on Thursday, following a strong finish on Wall
Street a day earlier, with investors sizing up big-ticket earnings reports and
looking forward to data that could offer clues on the economy's health.  .N 
    
    At 9:08 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.07% at 38,801. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.08% at 5,011, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down 0.11%
at 17,823.
