Australia's EMVision Medical Devices jumps on funding grant

** Shares of EMVision Medical Devices  EMV.AX  soar as much
as 11% to A$1.92, posting their biggest intraday percentage gain
since March 23 
    ** Says it has received a A$5 mln ($3.51 mln) grant under
the Modern Manufacturing Initiative of the Department of
Industry, Science, Energy and Resources
    ** Stock hits highest level since May 9 
    ** Trading volumes are thrice their 30-day average, with
104,000 shares traded thus far 
    ** EMV down 35.5% YTD, as of last close
