much as 3.9% to A$1.395, their highest since Oct. 17
    ** Co signs binding funding agreement with Department of

    ** Co says awarded A$5 mln ($3.2 mln) for commercial
production of its first-gen portable brain scanner
    ** Stock had halved in value YTD as of last close
