** Shares of media company E.W. Scripps  SSP.O  rise 4.8% to
$2.62
    ** Company says it has expanded an affiliation deal with NBC
 CMCSA.O  that covers 11 television stations across the United
States
    ** Deal extends a decades-long partnership with NBC that
provides viewers with local news, weather alerts and community
coverage - Dean Littleton, Scripps executive vice president,
media broadcast operation
    ** Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed
    ** Stock had fallen 72% in 2024
