The S&P 500 and the Dow fell for the second straight day on Thursday as Cisco
Systems slumped following a dismal outlook, while a rebound in megacap growth
stocks boosted the battered Nasdaq. .N 
    At 1335 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.81% at
31,235.74. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.55% at 3,901.98 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.02% at 11,415.648.
