Canopy Growth: Gains on Canada nod for recreational marijuana

** Canadian marijuana company Canopy Growth's U.S. shares
 CGC.N  up 4.8 pct premarket
    ** Canada Senate approves recreational use of marijuana

    ** Legalization has already been delayed from govt's
initially planned July launch
    ** Besides Canopy Growth  WEED.TO , other Canadian marijuana
companies include Aphria  APH.TO , Aurora Cannabis  ACB.TO  and
MedReleaf  LEAF.TO , which is to be bought by Aurora Cannabis
    ** The Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences ETF  HMMJ.TO  has
edged up 0.11 pct so far this year
    ** WEED has surged ~43 pct YTD, while LEAF has jumped ~31
pct; ACB is off ~1 pct and APH has tumbled ~36 pct
