On 13 February 2017, Equiniti Share Plan Trustees Limited (the "Trustee"), as the Trustee of the Company's easyJet plc Share Incentive Plan (the "Plan"), notified the Company that it purchased on 10 February 2017, ordinary shares of 27 2/7 pence each in the capital of the Company on behalf of, and awarded matching shares to, the persons discharging managerial responsibility set out in the notification forms below.
Under the Plan, each participant may contribute 150 per month, or make a lump sum payment from their annual bonus, towards the purchase of partnership shares. In accordance with the rules of the Plan, the matching shares have been awarded on the basis of one matching share for each partnership share purchased. The Company matches the first 1,500 per year of shares purchased from employee contributions. The matching shares will vest on the 3rd anniversary of the purchase of the partnership shares subject to continued employment and the retention of the underlying partnership shares.
The below notifications, made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, give further detail of the number of shares purchased and the number of matching shares awarded under the Plan on 10 February 2017.
