EASYJET STATEMENT - NEW REQUISITION OF GENERAL MEETING
easyJet announces that on 8 April 2020 it received notices from UBS Private Banking Nominees Limited and Vidacos Nominees Limited requisitioning a general meeting of the Company's shareholders (the "Requisition Notices"). The Requisition Notices propose resolutions to remove Andreas Bierwirth and Andrew Findlay as directors of the Company. 
The Company understands that easyGroup Holdings Limited is the ultimate beneficial holder of the shares being exercised by UBS Private Banking Nominees Limited and Vidacos Nominees Limited.
The Board is considering the contents of the Requisition Notices and further announcements will be made as appropriate.  Shareholders are advised to take no action at this time.
