** Shares of cryptocurrency and blockchain-related companies
rise premarket after bitcoin prices recover
** Bitcoin BTC= , the world's most valuable cryptocurrency,
up 1.3% at $66,989, while ether ETH= rises 1.1% to $3453
** From Friday's close, bitcoin prices have gained over
5.4%, recovering from a 4.7% loss over the past two weeks
** Ether prices have gained over 4.2% since Friday's close,
recouping from a 13% loss over the past two weeks
** Crypto exchange Coinbase Global COIN.O rises 3.2%,
while Blockchain farm operator Bitfarms Ltd BITF.O up 2.4%
** Crypto miners: Riot Platforms Inc RIOT.O Marathon
Digital MARA.O , U.S.-listed shares of Hut 8 HUT.O , and Bit
Digital BTBT.O up 2.3%-3.8%
** Software firm and BTC buyer MicroStrategy MSTR.O gain
5.1%, while BTC mining machine maker Canaan Inc CAN.O up 3.5%
** ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF BITO.P adds 4.9%
** Up to last close, BTC had risen 59.6%, compared with a
55.6% increase in the MVIS CryptoCompare Digital Assets 100
Index .MVDA
