MADRID, July 29 (Reuters) - Spain's Ebro Foods' EBRO.MC
net profit increased by 38% in the first half of the year amid a
strong demand for its pasta and rice driven by a change in
consumer habits in the coronavirus pandemic.
The company, which says it is the world's second-largest
rice seller and dry and fresh pasta maker, said on Wednesday its
net profit rose to 102.8 million euros ($120.82 million) out of
sales that gained 23% to 1.67 billion euros.
