** Verizon in discussion to buy SATS AWS-3 licenses, which help carry 5G wireless signal, Bloomberg reported on Monday

** Verizon stock up 0.2% in premarket trading

** If the deal is completed, Verizon to join AT&T T.N and Elon Musk's SpaceX to buy SATS wireless spectrum licenses

** According to SATS regulatory filing, co values AWS-3 spectrum at a "carrying amount" of $9.8 billion
