China's Genor Biopharma soars most on record on deal to jointly develop mRNA products

** Shares of China's oncology and autoimmune drugs-focused
developer Genor Biopharma Holdings Ltd  6998.HK  soar as much as
40.3% to HK$5.95, the biggest intraday pct gain since the debut
in October 2020
    ** Stock hits the highest since March 2, rising for a third
straight session; stock is second-biggest pct gainer in Hang
Seng Composite Index  .HSCI  
    ** Shanghai-based Genor says it has teamed up with
clinical-stage biotechnology firm Suzhou Abogen Biosciences Co
Ltd to jointly develop globally innovative mRNA products and

    ** Co says its biological antibody development platform will
be integrated with Abogen's mRNA technology platform to enable
the company and Abogen to jointly research and develop mRNA
drugs for tumor treatment
    ** Abogen's mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine has completed the
phase I and phase II clinical studies and is under evaluation of
phase III clinical trials 
    ** Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index  .HSNC  soars 3.7%
and healthcare index  .HSCIH  rises 1.6%
    ** Hang Seng Composite Index  .HSCI  surges 2.5% and Hang
Seng Index  .HSI  jumps 2.7%
    ** As of last close, Genor shares down 40.3% this year
