Australia's EDU Holdings climbs to 2-month peak on higher student intake

** Shares of EDU Holdings  EDU.AX  rise as much as 9.9% to
A$0.100, set to gain most since March 18, if current trend holds
    ** The tertiary education business operator says its higher
education business, Ikon Institute, recorded enrolment of 533
new students in trimester 2, up 244% on previous corresponding
period
    ** Stock hits highest level since April 17
    ** Stock on track for best week since week-ending Dec 1,
2023, if current gains hold
    ** Stock down 35% this year, as of last close
