** Shares of medical device maker Edwards Lifesciences EW.N rise 4.3% to $73.50 premarket

** Company late on Wednesday raised its 2025 sales forecast to a range of $5.7 billion to $6.1 billion, from between $5.6 billion and $6 billion earlier

** Edwards expects a tariff impact of 5 cents per share for 2025, with a larger hit expected in 2026

** Company posted Q1 adj. profit of 64 cents per share, beating analysts' estimates of 60 cents per share, according to data compiled by LSEG

     ** Co also reaffirmed its 2025 adjusted profit of $2.40 to $2.50 per share

** As of last close, EW has fallen 4.8% YTD
