Brief: EEII posts H1 loss, Russia/Ukraine hurts performance

Sept 3 (Reuters) - EEII AG  EIC.S : 
 * Says reports H1 net loss of 0.3 mchf 
 * Says fair value of its equity holdings remained unchanged 
 * Says net asset value (NAV) slightly decreased by 4 % from CHF 5.61 to 5.39 
   per share 
 * Says weak Russia and Ukraine, deteriorating energy commodity prices, 
   weakening of the Ukrainian hryvna, Russian ruble negatively affected its 
   portfolio performance
