Solar and LED contract wins across the education and healthcare sectors
eEnergy (AIM: EAAS), an Energy-as-a-Service provider funding and delivering energy infrastructure upgrades across multi-site portfolios with zero upfront cost for its customers, is pleased to announce two new contract awards in the UK public sector, comprising a multi-site schools project and a contract with a major hospital.
These contracts further strengthen eEnergy's position as a partner of choice for organisations seeking to reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions and improve the quality of their built environments. They also reinforce the Company's strategic focus on education and healthcare, where the need for cost savings, operational resilience and progress towards net zero remains acute.
Unity Schools Partnership - £1.1m supply and installation of solar PV systems
Awarded a contract to supply and install rooftop solar photovoltaic systems across 19 schools within the Unity Schools Partnership ("Unity"), enabling on-site green energy generation and delivering financial benefits through self-generation. With a total of 300 kW of power to be generated across the 19 schools, this marks an exciting milestone in Unity's progress towards its sustainability goals. It also further cements the ongoing relationship between eEnergy and Unity, with eEnergy having previously installed LED solutions across 14 schools within the Unity family, which are located across Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and Romford in East London. Plymouth University Hospital - £0.7m supply and installation of LED lighting
Awarded a contract to deliver full LED lighting upgrade across seven buildings, further extending eEnergy's successful lighting-upgrade programme, which has already encompassed 19 wards at Plymouth Derriford Hospital, completed in 2025. Supported by NHS England NEEF funding, this contract enables additional wards and buildings to be upgraded, giving Plymouth University Hospital improved lighting quality, comfort and safety, whilst delivering measurable energy and cost savings.
Harvey Sinclair, CEO of eEnergy, commented: "These awards demonstrate the continued momentum in our core markets and the trust that schools and hospitals place in our ability to deliver measurable energy and carbon savings. By combining data, technology and funding solutions, we are helping critical public services to decarbonise while protecting their operating budgets.
"These latest contracts add to eEnergy's growing portfolio across education and healthcare and support the Board's confidence in delivering its growth strategy for the current financial year and beyond."
