Biscathorpe Planning Appeal Update

Egdon Resources plc (AIM:EDR) is pleased to advise its intention to submit an
appeal against the refusal of planning permission by Lincolnshire County
Council (LCC) on 1 November 2021, for a side-track drilling operation,
associated testing and long-term oil production at the Biscathorpe site, held
under licence PEDL253. Egdon is operator and holds a 35.8% interest in the
licence.

The decision has been made after reviewing LCC's Decision Notice, which was
received on 6 December 2021, taking advice from our planning and legal
advisors and agreement with our joint venture partners.

The appeal documentation is currently in preparation and is expected to be
submitted during Q1 2022.
