Brief: Eimskip buys 80 pct in Belgian reefer logistics co Mareco

Jan 24 (Reuters) - Eimskipafélag Íslands hf. EIMS.IC :
* Buys reefer logistics company Mareco in Belgium with annual revenue of about 60 million
euros ($64.49 million)
* Transaction estimated at 16.6 million euros, subject to Mareco's financial results for
2016, will be financed with cash and debt
* Due to acquisition, Eimskip has drawn 7 million euros on credit facility
* Mareco will become part of Eimskip group as from beginning of 2017
* Current management team will continue to own 20 pct share in Mareco and will manage its
operations
