Australia's Electro Optic Systems hits 2-1/2-month high on positive H1 results

** Shares of Electro Optic Systems  EOS.AX  rise as much as
10.5% to A$1.79, their highest since April 29 
    ** Stock posts its biggest intraday pct gain since June 20
    ** EOS stock rises for fourth straight session
    ** The defense and space technology developer posts a 92%
growth in H1 revenue to A$142.6 mln ($96.23 mln)
    ** Says the increase in revenue includes growth across all
segments such as accelerated production and delivery of Remote
Weapons Systems (RWS) under an existing Middle East contract,
among others
    ** About 2.4 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 705,684
    ** Stock has risen 55.8% this year, as of last close
