** Shares of Australia's Electro Optic Systems EOS.AX rise as much as 8.9% to A$9.52, their biggest intraday pct gain since May 29
** The defense tech manufacturer says its command and control (C2) business, MARSS, has been selected as C2 provider for UK-based defense systems provider BAE Systems' BAES.L anti-threat system 
** Says MARSS will serve as the intelligent “nerve centre” for the anti-threat system
** Despite moves, stock down 8.5% YTD
