Elis falls as hit from lost Latin America volumes overshadows 'solid' results

** French commercial laundry and hygiene services group Elis ELIS.PA falls 5.3% after revealing it has lost a significant portion of volumes from local healthcare clients in Latin America following a reorganisation
** The hit from the loss is estimated at around €24 million ($27.45 million) 
** TP ICAP Midcap notes that while the group's H1 results were broadly in line with expectations, the Latin American setback overshadows an "otherwise solid performance"
** The impact is expected to be felt mainly in the second half of 2026, the brokerage adds 
** Share on track for worst day since March 2026, when it closed 5.8% lower
