Elis up after termination of discussions with Vestis and UniFirst

** Shares in Elis  ELIS.PA  rise 12.9% at 1.30 GMT after it
terminates discussions with Vestis and UniFirst around a
potential entry into the US market
    ** Co on track for best day since Nov. 9, 2020
    ** French company specialising in cleanliness and hygiene
says neither co's would have allowed it to complete a
transaction that would be in line with the its financial
discipline
    ** Elis adds it will continue its strategy combining organic
growth and value-creating acquisitions, and also explore
opportunities in new markets
    ** YTD, share is up 12.3%
