German stocks - Factors to watch on May 22

BERLIN, May 22 (Reuters) - The following are some of the
factors that may move German stocks on Friday:
    
    CORONAVIRUS
    Germany's private sector recession eased in May as a
loosening of lockdown measures in the coronavirus crisis helped
services and manufacturers gain some ground, a survey showed.

    German exporters are regaining momentum in their trade with
China, epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak, Martin Wansleben,
managing director of Germany's DIHK chambers of industry and

    The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany
increased by 460 to 177,212 while the reported death toll rose
by 27 to 8174, data from the Robert Koch Institute showed.
    
    
    STOCK MARKET
    Thursday was a public holiday in Germany, but the Frankfurt
stock exchange was open for trading. The blue-chip index DAX

    The airline is in advanced talks over a 9-billion euro

    Austrian unit AUA has agreed a short-time work model and
salary cuts of up to 15% with its on-board staff and 20% cost
